Brian
Harvey Attacked - December
12th, 2001 08.53 AM GMT.
Brian Harvey's record company
have released further details
of his condition following
an attack outside a club in
Nottingham. He was hit over
the head as he left 'The Works'
just after midnight - he had
just finished appearing at
the venue. It's thought he
was attacked by a group of
four or five youths at the
junction of Forman Street
and Trinity Square in the
city. He was taken to the
Queen's Medical Centre with
a serious scalp wound. His
record company has released
a statement saying "Brian
was attacked with a machete,
although police won't confirm
that".
The
statement says he has had
an operation and he is now
in a stable condition. Doctors
are expecting him to make
a full recovery. Police are
appealing for two women who
left the club at the same
time who they think might
have witnessed the attack.
