How
long have you been DJing?
Just over 4 years now
How
did you get started?
My cousin was a dj mainly
playing rnb hip-hip and reggae.
I use to mess around on his
equipment then eventually
bought my own. Thats were
it all began.
Who
was your inspiration/s?
My ultimate inspiration was
my cousin, however, I also
looked up to Ray Hurley..i
think hes a wicked garage
DJ. Right now though i look
up to EZ for the creativity
in his mixes.
What
would you be doing if you
weren't a DJ? I
would probably be in the computer
industry. I use to be a Techincal
Support Engineer so thats
always an option. I would
still be producing music though.
Theres always new styles and
beats to play with and i love
doin it..
What
do you think about the commercialisation
of UK Garage? I
think its heavy that tracks
that start on the underground
made there way up into the
UK charts, at the end of the
day this is he way the artist
makes there money. There is
still a definitive difference
between underground and commercial
tracks and i hope it stays
that way.
What
other sort of music are you
into?
Bhangra, Rnb, Hip-Hop, Soul.
Favourite
Venue?
The
Works, Kingston, Twice as
Nice smacks it!!!!!.
Favourite
Garage Tune of all time? Far
too many to list...but probably
the best has got to be Some
Treats - Lost in Vegas...OH
YESSS!!
Favourite
Garage Tune at the moment?
Still gotta be Jameson - Urban
Hero...WHAT A TUUNNNEEEE!!.
Any
advice for up and coming DJs?
Firstly, if your looking to
be a club dj then dont start
mixing using BPM counters,
they can make mixing very
easy but you don't learn the
art. Secondly, be original,
dont listen to other mixes
and try copying them, you
can make yours sound just
as good. Finally, dont give
up, stick to it, and ENJOY
it
Any
Residencys?

are!!!). Also a special shoutout
