How
long have you been DJing?
about 5-6 years now.
How
did you get started? Basically doing collages/house
parties with an older friend of mine.
Who
was your inspiration/s? i used to listen
to westwood on capital fm. at the end of his show he
had a guy called dj business who used to mix for half
an hour. i couldnt belive the skills from this guy so
said to myself "i wanna be like that". also a little
later on again from westwood he would play funkmaster
flex mixtapes. he was on another level to dj business
. so just when i thought i had my skills there i heard
him and felt like an amateur again. mainly hiphop,thats
what i try to do when i mix garage. bring the whole
elements of a hip hop dj into it.
What
would you be doing if you weren't a DJ? probably
web design or music production.
What
do you think about the commercialisation of UK Garage?
it
had to happen sooner or later. when something is considered
underground people wanna be part of it, which leeds
to it becoming popular. but there will always be an
underground elemet. like with hiphop p diddy could be
number 1 in the charts but you still have the underground
heads doing there thing.
What
other sort of music are you into?
i try and listen to all music, and take influences from
everything.

the whole twice as nice scene at colli. its a shame
its gone over to kingston sides cos im sure the vibe
is gone. also love playing out in germany the ravers
seem to be up for it a whole lot more.

dj faz is doing the ep is amazing. nice bumpy kinda

advice for up and coming DJs? basically just
try to do your own thing dont follow anyone elses style.
play what music you like , and keep at it.
