How
long have you been DJing?
I have been DJ'ing for over two yrs now.
How
did you get started? I was interested in
mixing for along time before I actually got my first
pair of decks, I had to convince my parents it wasn't
just a phase I was goin thru & that I would take it
seriously. I liked the way the DJ was able to control
the vibes of a rave to an extent, I wanted to b able
to do that & give that hype feeling to someone when
a heavy tune was dropped. A new a few mates who were
into DJ'ing so they advised me etc. My first pair of
decks were belt drives & I got sum biiiig mixer which
was really standard with just a crossfader & 2 Kills…looking
back it makes me laugh..but at the time it was more
than enough. As I progressed I grew out of belt drives,
this x-mas 2001 father christmas was very good 2 me…he
brought me 1210's mk 3's & a vvvvvery nice mixer…
Who
was your inspiration/s? Inspirations were
people who kept me goin thru thick and thin & people
who believed in me.
What
would you be doing if you weren't a DJ? Well,
I'm currently studing Geography, Theatre Studies, Art
& Design & English Literature at a 6th form in Herts….
What
do you think about the commercialisation of UK Garage?
Hmmmm……..i'm not liking it to be honest.
Now its defiantely harder to get into the scene because
any one and everyone I seem to chat to now these days
seems to be a DJ or MC. This is defianately a good thing
because its ensuring better quality artists etc. I'm
not feeling people like MC Neat, DJ Luck or Mis-teeq,
as much I have repect for them because of how far they
have gone, I don't approve So Solids assocciation to
violence within the Garage Scene.
What
other sort of music are you into? I
like RnB, DnB, Hip Hop…but my 1 love is UK G.

experience….DON'T give up, believe in youself, be determined
