How
long have you been MCing?
4 years
How
did you get started? Started going to raves
back in '94. My first was at Bowlers in Manchester,
back then it was all piano tunes and no MC's. I quickly
got into the hardcore rave scene and realised what an
important part the MC's played in the scene as a whole.
I started getting more into MC'ing and soon got some
apperances at some small hardcore nights. After the
hardcore scene became a bit cheesy I got more into drum
'n' bass and more recently garage. I think the MC's
in these scenes put much more though into their lyrics
than hardcore MC's.
Who
was your inspiration/s? MC Charlie B, MC
Sharkey...Sharkey was one of the few MC's that really
showed some enthusiam in what he was doing and could
really strike a rapport with the crowd.
What
would you be doing if you weren't a MC? Hey,
I gotta pay the bills still! I work in IT.
What
do you think about the commercialisation of UK Garage?
Like with any popular music there is gonna
be some commercialisation. It's inevitable. It killed
hardcore, let's hope it won't happen with garage!
What
other sort of music are you into?Hard
house, drum'n' bass, garage.

Any
advice for up and coming MCs? Stick at it,
don't take any crap and don't be afraid to sell yourself.
If no-one is on the mic, go grab it for yourself.

Any
Shout Outs? Too many.
