How
long have you been MCing?
nine years..
How
did you get started?
Iused to go to a local u18s
club called cagneys in worcester
park Surrey this is where
i first saw the ratpack evenson
allen and lipmaster masrk
there preformance encouraged
me to want to be an mc from
here i started working for
teenrage the u.k biggest u18s
rave organisation and i then
went on to appear on don fm,
dream fm and numerous other
pirate radio stations and
at the same time started to
get bookings across the country
at many drum and bass and
uk garage events the rest
is history.
Who
was your inspiration/s?
Ratpack ,Rebel MC, Raggatwins,Stevie
Hyper D and MC Creed!
What
would you be doing if you
weren't a MC? I
would like to think i would
have been a hundred meter
sprinter i was running for
Belgrave Harriers, then i
started going to night clubs
and staying out late and eventually
stopped training my coach
often said to me that i could
go all the way i was running
11.2seconds at the age of
14 over a hundred meters...
What
do you think about the commercialisation
of UK Garage?
I think its great its about
time dj,s .producers .,mc,s
and singers and everyone else
who has contributed to the
scene gets there rewards for
all the hard work theyve put
in over the years and its
about time the rest of the
u.k and the world know that
we dont just listen to Westlife
and Kylie and that there is
a massive following for the
UK Underground Sound we need
to be able to show that our
sound is acceptable to all
ages and genres and to people
who just like good music regardless
of where it comes from.
What
other sort of music are you
into? I
love rnb, soul, drum and bass, vocal
house ,pop and i also like
bhangra im feelin those funky
sounds big up to Missy Elliot
for bringing that flavour
with her Get your Freek on
track.
